Ingredients
Makes 4 kebabs
• 1 bananas
• 4 strawberries
• 1 kiwi
• A few green grapes
• A few blueberries and blackberries
• Some slices of melon
• Dairy free chocolate chips
• A small piece of carrot
• 4 child safe food skewers
Method
-
Cut the melon into small stars or tree shapes using cookie cutters. Cut the kiwi into simple wedges.
-
Slice the bananas into thick rounds. Use the chocolate chips for eyes and tiny pieces of carrot for noses to make snowman faces.
-
Cut the strawberries into triangles for Santa hats. Add a small banana piece at the tip of each hat and a thin banana slice at the base.
-
Thread the fruit onto the skewers, alternating the snowmen, strawberries, grapes, berries, kiwi and melon shapes.
-
Arrange the kebabs on a plate and serve straight away.
Tips
Use any fruit you have available. Red grapes, raspberries or pieces of pear all work well.
If you are making these with younger children, let them arrange the fruit on a plate instead of using skewers. Adapt the fruit pieces to your child and supervise while they eat.
Choose dairy free chocolate chips to keep the recipe vegan.
