Viral Peanut Butter Chocolate Bars
Share
I saw this viral peanut butter bar, and with only a handful of ingredients I had to see if they were actually worth the hype.
They’re rich, peanut buttery, covered in dark chocolate and ridiculously easy to make. No baking, no complicated ingredients and they take minutes to throw together before chilling in the fridge.
This is my take on the viral peanut butter bar recipe, inspired by the version shared by Lee & Dee my fave almond mum.

Ingredients
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1 cup of smooth peanut butter
- ¼ cup maple syrup
- Dark chocolate, melted about 70g
- Flaky sea salt
Method
Add the peanut butter, almond flour and maple syrup to a bowl and mix until everything comes together into a thick dough-like mixture.
Press firmly into a small lined tray or container, making sure the top is fairly even. I was having trouble smoothing out the mix so I popped baking paper on top and that helped me get a nice flat top
Melt the dark chocolate and spread it over the peanut butter layer, then finish with a little flaky sea salt.
Pop into the freezer for around 10 minutes, or chill in the fridge until firm.
Slice into bars and keep refrigerated.

Are the viral peanut butter bars actually worth making?
For me, yes its absolutely delicious.
They’re one of those recipes that tastes much more indulgent than the ingredient list suggests, and I love that you can keep a batch in the fridge for when you want something sweet.
They’re also naturally plant-based if you use vegan dark chocolate, making them such an easy little snack or dessert.
I like to always have a home made sweet treat like this available to help me eat as clean as possible. With recipes like this it's so easy to keep on track.
